Australia’s support to Philippines in accordance with Australia-Philippines development cooperation program has the major objective :-
• To enhance the basic education.
• To develop and enhance local government capacity to deliver basic services.
• Climate change adaptation and calamity risk management shall be strengthened.
• Security and peace conditions shall be improved.
The (PAHRODF)Philippines-Australia Human Resource and Organisational Development Facility is the Government of Australia’s flagship program to support human resource management,institutional change and organizational development in the Philippines, is like the secretariat of Australia awards in the Philippines.
THE RE-ENTRY PLAN FOR FILIPINOS
The (REAP)that is the re-entry plan for Filipinos , is a unique feature of the Philippine program which allows the Filipino awardees to contribute their bit in Philippine development and improvement. The Filipino applicant is required to apply for REAP by outlining or showing how their skills can be used in development programs in their fields , workplaces , sectors etc.
These Scholarships shall not be available forstudy of courses in Australia when the applicant has already achieved that qualification orif the qualification is considered to be equivalent to the qualification in Australia at the same level.
With such a vast advantage that this award and scholarships in Australia has given to theFilipinos , it has become really popular among them .
